In November of 1984 Mark leased a store front on a then prominent corner in downtown Twin Falls and opened his first restaurant called the A’roma Italian Cuisine. The A’roma grew over the next 18 years into on of the most popular and innovative restaurants in Southern Idaho. Next in 1994 he opened the A’roma Express on the north end of town to provide a variation of his downtown recipes to the growing Poleline Road business population explosion. In 1996 he sold the Express and returned his talents to his Downtown location. In 2002 Mark entered partnership with his friend and owner of a very popular Southwest restaurant and started his next venture called Senor Caesar’s. This was a blend of Italian and Southwest styles of cuisine. In 2007 they sold and Mark thought he had retired from the Restaurant world. Then in the spring of 2009 Tim Obnenchain and Bob Maloney offered a unique opportunity to Mark. To remodel an existing property in a busy location into the new Anchor Bistro and Bar.
